Don't get the cousins mixed up with the same name a cousin also named Philip Goss who went to New Hampshire and has descendants. This is why I am writing this blog, to make sure the correct lineage is featured. I have land records, probates, and other documents from the Pennsylvania Archive in Harrisburg and other archives that prove these children. Philip & Mary had Sarah, Philip, Experience, Nathaniel, Comfort (probably a cousin), David, Solomon (my line), Mary, and Ebenezer. Please be careful, someone is incorrectly listing the children of Philip Goss IV and Mary Kendall online at various sights. See John Goss published posts on this blog for more information. In this document it gives Polly's maiden name as Davidson as was determined by other documents and the date of their marriage 1 July 1802 in Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania. NEW INFO FOUND: A Divorce decree from the Supreme Court of Portage County, Ohio covers the divorce of John Goss from Polly Davidson in 1822.
